Hi All,
My question is regarding rights of a prior domain name holder. I registered a domain (which I have not used yet) in 2011. Another person registered a similar, not identical, domain name in 2013 which is almost identical visually, phonetically, and conceptually. I do not have a registered trademark in my name yet. Also I have not used the domain name as trademark yet. I am at a loss as to what I should do to get the later filed domain name removed from the register. I have a big dream of starting up a new business, but now I am really worried. Should I file a trademark which is similar to the domain name so that I can use the trademark as basis to remove the domain name in future?
Any suggestion/opinion will be highly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Surjit
